Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

Daily HQ helps you see which career opportunities deserve your attention and what to do next. To do that well, it holds information you choose to give it. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it, how long it stays and how to remove it — in plain English, describing what the product actually does.

1. Who we are

Daily HQ is a career and opportunity intelligence service operated by Daily HQ, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, in the United States. In this document “Daily HQ”, “we” and “us” mean Daily HQ, LLC, and “you” means the person using the service.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@dailyhq.ai.

2. Information you provide

We only hold what you give us or ask us to keep. That can include:

  • Your email address, used to create your account and to send you one-time sign-in links.
  • Career Vault and profile details — target roles, seniority, location and travel constraints, compensation expectations, skills and domain experience, achievements and evidence you write down, and the priorities and constraints you record.
  • Preferences and calibration — the adjustments you make to what Daily HQ should show you, including the learning controls that tune your matches.
  • Decisions and history — which opportunities you kept, dismissed, advanced or deferred, your recorded tradeoffs, and the timeline of actions you took.
  • Saved opportunities and War Room notes — the companies and roles you track and the thesis, signals and next actions you record about them.
  • Relationship and contact information you import — if you choose to import your own LinkedIn connections export, the file is parsed in your browser and only the entries you confirm are stored in your account (typically name, company, title, connection date, profile URL and, where your own export contains it, an email address).
  • Messages you send us, such as support email.

Please do not put information into Daily HQ that you are not permitted to share, including your current employer’s confidential material.

3. Information collected automatically

Daily HQ does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics or marketing pixels. The operational information that exists is limited to what running the service requires:

  • Authentication state. Your signed-in session is stored in your browser’s local storage by our authentication provider so you stay signed in on that device.
  • On-device application state. Your guided sample experience, journey progress and some interface preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage and session storage. This data stays on your device unless you explicitly move it into your account.
  • Server and security logs. Our hosting and database providers process standard request information (for example IP address, timestamp, user agent and error details) to serve pages, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
  • Service records. Records that make features work — for example the day a briefing was delivered, sync receipts, and when cached research was refreshed.

We do not set cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Where cookies are used at all, they are limited to keeping your session and the site working.

4. How we use information

  • To provide the service: your Daily HQ, briefings, opportunity scores, watch list, War Rooms and Career Vault.
  • To personalize what you see — matching, ranking and prioritizing opportunities against the profile, preferences and decisions you record.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, including preventing abuse and investigating errors.
  • To communicate with you about your account, sign-in links and support requests.
  • To improve the product, using aggregate or de-identified usage patterns and the feedback you send us.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with employers or recruiters. Nothing you record is published or made visible to other users.

5. Scoring and automated processing

Daily HQ produces scores, explanations, priorities and suggested next actions. Today this is generated by our own analysis and ranking logic running inside our service — your Career Vault, decisions and contacts are not sent to a third-party AI model or used to train anyone’s model.

If we later introduce a third-party AI provider for a feature, we will name it in this policy and describe what is sent before that feature processes your information. Where Daily HQ offers to hand off context to an AI assistant you use yourself, you choose what to copy and where to paste it, and that is your session with that provider, not ours.

Scores are decision support. They are estimates produced from incomplete public information and your stated preferences, and they are not predictions or guarantees.

6. Employer listings and third-party information

To find and monitor opportunities, Daily HQ requests information from public sources and stores a cached copy so that scoring, deduplication and change detection work:

  • Employer applicant-system job APIs — the public job-board APIs operated for employers by Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. Daily HQ reads published openings; it does not use credentials, headless browsers or aggregator sites.
  • Employer-published pages — leadership, team and newsroom pages on an employer’s own website, used to identify named people and stated roles, respecting that site’s robots rules. Daily HQ records only what the employer published; it does not buy contact data and does not guess or generate email addresses or phone numbers.

Cached listings and employer research describe companies and roles, not you, and may be shared across accounts as common reference data. Employers control their own pages, so information can be incomplete or out of date.

7. LinkedIn boundaries

Daily HQ has no integration with LinkedIn. We do not connect to LinkedIn, access your LinkedIn account, post on your behalf, read your messages or scrape LinkedIn.

The only LinkedIn-related feature is optional: you can export your own connections file from LinkedIn and import it. The file is read in your browser, you review what was found, and only what you confirm is saved to your account. Daily HQ is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, LinkedIn.

8. Payments

Paid subscriptions are not open to the public yet. If and when you purchase, payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted payment pages and never reach Daily HQ — we do not receive or store full card numbers.

What we do store is the subscription record we need to run your access: a customer and subscription identifier from Stripe, your plan, its status and period dates, and whether a discount or founder price applies. Stripe’s own handling of payment information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.

9. Service providers and disclosures

We share information with a small number of providers who process it for us:

  • Supabase — managed database, authentication and email delivery for sign-in links.
  • Our application hosting provider — serving the application and its server functions.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing, only if you purchase.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, in response to valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety or property of Daily HQ or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case we will tell you.

10. Retention, and how deletion works

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service, then for the period required to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Three different things are worth keeping apart, because they behave differently:

  • The copy on your device. Your guided sample experience and any Career Vault work you have not moved into your account live in your browser’s storage. Clearing your browser data for this site, or using your browser’s private mode, removes that copy. It is not recoverable, and it was never uploaded.
  • The copy in your account. When you move your Career Vault into your account, it is stored in owner-scoped rows only you can read. You can change or clear these entries in the product, and you can ask us to remove them entirely.
  • Deleting your account. There is no in-app delete button today. Email support@dailyhq.ai from your account address and we will delete your account and the personal information associated with it. Cached employer and job-listing reference data, which is not about you, and records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, remain.

If you had a subscription, billing records are retained as long as our tax and accounting obligations require.

11. Security

We take security seriously and design for it: accounts are authenticated, your rows are scoped to you and protected by database row-level security, privileged credentials stay on the server, and traffic is encrypted in transit. We do not claim any security certification.

No service can promise absolute security. Please use a mail account you control for sign-in links, keep access to your inbox secure, and tell us at support@dailyhq.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

12. Where we operate, and who may use Daily HQ

Daily HQ is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States by us and our providers. If you use the service from elsewhere, you understand that your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

Daily HQ is intended for working professionals aged 18 or older, consistent with our Terms of Service. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

13. Your choices

  • You decide what goes into your Career Vault, and you can edit or remove entries.
  • You decide whether on-device work is moved into your account.
  • Contact imports and employer research are opt-in actions you start.
  • Notification settings, including web push, are optional and can be turned off.
  • You can request a copy of the personal information in your account, correction of it, or deletion, by emailing support@dailyhq.ai. We may need to verify your request from your account email address.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give you notice in the product or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Daily HQ after an update means the updated policy applies to you.
