Terms of Service
Effective date: August 31, 2026
These terms explain what Daily HQ does, what it does not promise, what we each are responsible for, and the rules for using the Service. They are written in plain English on purpose, and they describe the product as it actually works today.
1. This agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Daily HQ, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Daily HQ”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you use the Daily HQ website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is part of this agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for working professionals managing their own career. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
3. Your account and sign-in
Daily HQ signs you in with a one-time link sent to your email address; some accounts may also use a password. Because access is tied to your inbox, keeping that inbox secure is how you keep your account secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account, for the accuracy of the email address you give us, and for not sharing sign-in links. Tell us promptly at support@dailyhq.ai if you think someone else has access. One account is for one person.
4. What the Service is
Daily HQ is career and opportunity intelligence and decision support. It gathers information about companies and openings from public sources, organizes what you record about your own career, scores and prioritizes opportunities against your stated preferences, explains its reasoning, and recommends a next action.
It is a tool for your judgment, not a substitute for it. You decide what to pursue, what to send and what to accept.
5. No guarantees about outcomes or information
We do not promise, and you should not rely on Daily HQ for:
- employment, interviews, responses, offers or any particular career outcome;
- complete or exhaustive coverage of open roles, companies or people — listings come from public sources that change without notice, and some employers are not represented at all;
- the accuracy, currency or availability of employer listings, company information, named people or stated roles;
- accuracy of compensation, funding, headcount, seniority or timing information;
- the accuracy of scores, rankings, explanations or recommendations, which are estimates from incomplete information; or
- uninterrupted availability of the Service or of any particular feature.
Verify anything that matters — especially compensation, role scope and employment terms — directly with the employer.
6. Not professional advice
Daily HQ does not provide legal, tax, financial, immigration, recruiting or employment advice, and using it does not create a professional or fiduciary relationship. We are not a staffing agency, employment agency or recruiter, and we do not represent you to employers or employers to you. For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified professional.
7. Employer listings, third-party content and links
The Service displays and caches job listings, company information and links from public third-party sources, including employers’ own applicant systems and websites. That content belongs to those third parties, we do not control it, and we do not endorse it. Following a link takes you to a site governed by that site’s own terms and privacy practices. Any dealings you have with an employer or other third party are between you and them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harass, defame or impersonate anyone;
- upload information you are not permitted to share, including your employer's confidential or trade-secret material, or personal data about others that you have no right to provide;
- use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to mass-apply to roles;
- scrape, crawl, mirror, resell or redistribute the Service or its data, or use it to build a competing dataset or product;
- reverse engineer, probe, penetration test, overload, interfere with or attempt to bypass security, access controls, rate limits or entitlements;
- share your account or access it in a way intended to circumvent plan limits; or
- upload malicious code or attempt to gain access to data that is not yours.
9. Your content and the permission we need
Everything you put into Daily HQ — your Career Vault, notes, decisions, preferences, imported contacts and files — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us the limited permission we need to run the Service for you: to store, process, reproduce, adapt and display your content so we can provide, personalize, secure, back up and support your account. This permission exists only to operate the Service for you, and it ends when your content is deleted, apart from copies retained in routine backups for a limited period or as the law requires.
You confirm you have the right to provide what you upload, including any contact information about other people, and that our processing of it on your instruction is permitted.
10. Our intellectual property and your feedback
The Service — including its software, scoring and ranking logic, interface, design, content and trademarks — belongs to Daily HQ or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own career purposes under these terms. No other rights are granted.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without obligation or payment to you. You keep any rights you already had in your ideas.
11. Free and paid access
Daily HQ is currently available at no charge, with feature allowances that differ by access level. We may change what is included in free access as the product develops.
Paid subscription levels exist in the product but are not open for public purchase, and this page is not an offer to sell. Nothing is charged unless you deliberately complete a purchase through our payment provider’s checkout, where the exact price and terms are shown before you pay. If and when purchasing opens, subscriptions renew for the stated period until cancelled, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and access continues until then, an introductory founder price stays in effect only for as long as that subscription continues without interruption, and any refunds are handled case by case at our discretion unless the law provides otherwise. The terms shown at checkout govern the purchase.
12. Changes to the Service
The Service is under active development. We may add, change, limit or discontinue features, data sources or plan allowances, and we may perform maintenance that makes the Service temporarily unavailable. If we discontinue something you paid for, we will give you notice and a fair remedy for the unused portion of your paid period.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@dailyhq.ai from your account address.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use creates legal risk or harms the Service or other users, or if we are required to. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you and give you a chance to fix the problem. Sections that should survive termination — your content permissions as described above, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — continue to apply.
14. Disclaimers
Except where the law does not allow it, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy or completeness of information. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Daily HQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost compensation, lost data or reputational harm, arising from or relating to your use of the Service — including decisions you make based on scores, rankings, listings or recommendations.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
16. Your responsibility for what you upload
You are responsible for the information you put into the Service and for how you use what it produces. If a third party brings a claim against us because you uploaded information you had no right to provide, or because you used the Service in breach of these terms or the law, you agree to be responsible for that claim, including reasonable costs, to the extent it results from your actions.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute relating to them or to the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@dailyhq.ai. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you directly, and most issues are settled this way. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and Daily HQ each keep any rights and defenses available under applicable law.
18. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, give notice in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Daily HQ after that means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.
